We provide a forum for homesteaders to share information online and in person at events. Educational and Awareness events are held throughout the community and online to support homesteading practices. Promoting seed exchange opportunities and youth activities is a top priority for the organization.

This group is for Hernando County residents to share ideas and tips for the homesteading community. We can all do our part to lessen our families' consumption's environmental and economic impacts. Changing our habits, upcycling, protecting our families and property, growing food, trading goods, raising livestock, pioneer practices, and lessening our footprint. ​ Some call us preppers, pioneer people, environmentalists, and other terms, but we call ourselves self-reliant, self-sustainers, and hard workers.

The opportunity for micro-grants to start home gardens will be available in the near future. Food forest planning and site visits in person and online will be available in our next programming phase. Online classes with the opportunity to connect with the experts will provide an opportunity to grow your homestead.

You can edit the title from the FAQ 'Settings' tab in the Editor. To remove the title from your mobile app go to the 'Site & App' tab in your Owner's app and customize.
